I don’t know the answers. I don’t have the key. It’s only through communion with the divine that I know my Self. (I know that sounds rather grandiose but I do this in simple ways; through meditation, through being in nature, through loving physical touch, through wise words from elders…..)

Life Is Not Simple

Life is not simple. It is exceptionally challenging, no matter what path you choose, but your soul is love, and love is home and love is everything. And everything external to this—the choices, the paths, the outcomes, the achievements —are all kind of beautifully irrelevant when you feel at home in your soul.

Love Gives You Strength

We can see love in all things, in all places. No matter what, where, who, why – it doesn’t matter. And your mind or circumstances may try to tell you otherwise, but you are here, now and all is well. And it’s from this place, this place that’s grounded in love, that you can live with strength and wild freedom. I don’t want this to come across as woo woo (I hate that term) because this is an entirely practical, learned skill.

Love Your Critical Mind

Your head’s continual shaming or critiquing might want “to make you better” – love it into alignment – reassure it with love. It wants the best for you and is not the enemy. There are ways for it to be on your side.

Move Through Life in Love, Not Fear

You cannot move in fear. So love it all – every thought, every little thing. This gives you peace of mind. Then life can be the wild adventure that’s in your heart. It’s where your true Self lives.
